Continuing with today's garden theme... Tomatoes are red, and strawberries too. Zucchini are green, and blueberries grow true. The purple of potatoes, carrots can grow. Nasturtiums are orange, like the carrots you know. Squash can be yellow, a vibrant hue. So are the flowers of broccoli, too!

Second belated post, whoops. I've been composing my poems during dog walks so the spring flora is going to show up a lot this month. Brilliant white petals, the star of spring's big fanfare, spots on the pavement.

The garden is weedier than I like but I'm mostly keeping it under control. It's due another round of planting seeds, too, maybe on Memorial day. My seedlings and starts are doing well despite it all, though. :)
