The past school year I ended up having to use up all my sick days. I got sick with almost everything my students dragged through the classroom. For the first time in my life I got strep throat. It was a rough school year health-wise. I want to make sure that this fall’s school year goes better. So since I have an over-abundance of herbs growing in my garden this year, I’m working on preserving them to help. Considering the sheer number of germs my kiddos manage to bring in I don’t know if I can completely dodge getting sick, but maybe I can help my body avoid some of them, and to recover faster. The herbs I’m working with so far are: yarrow, sage, mint. They’re medicinal, and tasty.
