This past week I harvested some delicious blueberries from the Mercer Slough Blueberry Farm. Freshly grown on clean wetland water, nourished by a brilliant Pacific Northwest sun (which was being particularly high in temperature on Friday), the berries were scrumptious. I managed not to eat more than I harvested and brought back just enough to make a delightful batch of Chocolate Blueberry Ice cream.
The ice cream was a great shade of chocolaty deep blue edging into purple. Wonderful!
